Piano Tuning Services
_"There is joy in playing a piano that is in tune."
I approach each tuning appointment as a service call, instead of just a piano tuning. It's more than just getting the piano back up to pitch where it belongs - your piano should sound better, and play better when I am finished.
I take about an hour and a half to service your piano. Most of that time will be spent tuning your piano, making a couple of passes up and down the keyboard to help insure the tuning will be more stable as well as sound good. I then make minor adjustments and repairs as time allows that help the piano play and sound better.
If the piano needs further work, I make sure that you understand the issue, the impact fixing (or not fixing) would have on the instrument and the possible options you have for repair.

$100.00 + Sales Tax *First Time Appointment are typically $100-$150 + Sales Tax The basic piano tuning fee is $100. If the pitch of the piano is low to the point extra work is required, there is an additional charge (See What is a Pitch Raising?). Customers with pianos that have not been tuned within the last 12 months should expect a piano tuning fee between $100 and $150 plus sales tax. Although the basic piano tuning usually only takes 45 to 90 minutes, I suggest allowing two hours for the appointment. |
